Lebanese graphic designer and analogue photographer.
Born and raised in a small town in Mt. Lebanon, I developed an early interest in manual craftsmanship. I spent the summer breaks tinkering in my father’s metal workshop.
The first exposure to the darkroom came during a university class, igniting my passion for analogue photography as a hobby alongside my career in graphic design.
Following the events of 2020, both locally and internationally, I joined Beirut Printmaking Studio as a printmaking resident first, and later as a darkroom assistant and instructor. Immersing myself further into the entire process, I grew more devoted to the printed image and the meticulous attention to detail. This dedication has evolved into a more extensive practice that now occupies the majority of my time.
In 2022, i acquired a 1957 Heidelberg Windmill letterpress with the intent of opening a letterpress studio in the heart of the Lebanese mountains.
